Who we are
OrgPlannerPro ("we", "us") provides organizational planning software for teams. This policy explains what data we handle when you use orgplannerpro.com and the OrgPlannerPro application.
Data we collect
- Account data.Your name, email address, and authentication details are processed by our authentication provider, Clerk. We don't store your password.
- Workspace content. The org data you enter — people, titles, reporting lines, compensation figures, scenarios, skills assignments, notes, and version history — is stored in our database provider, Convex, and belongs to you.
- Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we store only your subscription status and seat count.
- Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and reliability.
How we use data
We use your data solely to provide, secure, and improve the service: authenticating you, storing and syncing your workspace content, processing subscriptions, and preventing abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use your workspace content to train machine learning models or for advertising.
Compensation data specifically
Compensation figures are among the most sensitive data in the product. Visibility is enforced server-side: users without compensation permission in your workspace are never sent salary values — aggregate percentages are computed on the server instead. Version-history entries that contain compensation are redacted the same way.
Who can see your workspace
Workspace content is visible only to members of that workspace, per the roles and comp-visibility settings your admins configure. Our staff do not access workspace content except when required for support (with your consent) or by law.
Subprocessors
We rely on: Clerk (authentication), Convex (database and file storage), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.
Retention & deletion
Workspace content is retained while your account is active. Version history on the Free tier is pruned after 30 days. Deleting a plan, workspace, or your account removes the associated content from our production systems; residual copies in encrypted backups expire on a rolling basis.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can export your roster as CSV at any time. For other requests, contact us at privacy@orgplannerpro.com.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production systems is limited and audited.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the product.
